Madness is present in everyone, it prevails in a few. Life is too short to spend it frowning. Learn to ‘Live and Laugh’.
We take everything too seriously. Our work, our life and the way we dress; sometimes learn to take everything with a pinch of salt. It’s important to know how to laugh at yourself. It is important to unleash your quirkiness from time to time. To break all the rules and let the madness take over.
This outfit does exactly that. It juxtaposes the sober with the over the top. The modern with the antique. The mild with the mad. It all starts with a little quirk. The bolero from Quirkbox adds a sense of humour to the whole outfit. I paired with my traditional printed skirt from Shillong for some obvious contrast. The line of thought continued in picking out the accessories. I’ve stacked neon with traditional prints. Oxidised silver with modern zippers. The overall effect is deviously antithetical. I’ve finished off the look with neon tie-ups to seal the deal.
This is my effort to add a much needed eccentricity to my every day. Hope you like it!
