Summertime weather is approaching and it’s the perfect time to be casual, cool and be chic. One of my favorite things about dressing for summer is that you can just throw on a cute dress and call it a day without much extra work. When I’m trying to look chic, but I also don’t feel like putting any effort into my outfit, I reach for a striped dress. My love and affection for striped outfits are pretty clear from my Instagram.
STRIPES will always be a part of my fashion journey as far I can think.
A striped dress is an easy classic that literally everyone can wear. You can pair it with fun accessories, wear it with heels to dress it up or keep it simple all over. With a few well-chosen accessories, I styled my striped A-line dress with pearls headband, peach toned sunglasses, black boots with a chic clutch to carry your essentials. This seems perfect to go on a date and even head for a brunch with your girl gang.
To keep it more casual, ditch the black boots and headband. Keep your accessories from nil to negligible, maybe small studs, pair with white sneakers and call a day.
